COURSE DESCRIPTION

Lecture Title: Designed for Restorative and Implant Workflows. Built For Practice Efficiency with iTero™

Speaker: Joshua Austin, DDS, MAGD, FACD

Description: A digital impression captures abutment and arch information directly from the patients' mouth and facilitates immediate examination of the preparation. This results in increased control and higher predictability with easy access to the manufacturing workflow.

Given the pervasiveness of CAD/CAM technology in dental laboratories and significant differences in the digital and traditional design to fabrication methods, often scanner workflow, communication with lab and the fit accuracy of the digital restorations is an area that clinicians are eager to know more about.
